Just a 3-minute walk from Minami-Rinkan Station, Tobiuo is a specialty ramen shop that opened in June 2020. It serves ramen made with grilled flying fish (ago) broth, delivering a strong and distinctive seafood flavor.
You can choose from two soup types: “light (tanrei)” and “ultra-rich.”
The ultra-rich broth has a strong, bold aroma of grilled ago and is perfect for those who love intense fish flavors.
However, if you’re sensitive to fishy smells, we recommend going with the light (tanrei) version instead.
📸 The photo shown is of the light version.
The ramen features thin, wavy noodles that pair beautifully with the broth, and the char-grilled chashu and menma (bamboo shoots) complement the dish perfectly.
🐟 “An aromatic bowl with bold seafood flavor. If you’re a fan of fish-based ramen, this one will truly hit the spot.”
The shop is small, with only 8 counter seats, but it’s always busy with locals and visitors. Fortunately, parking is available.
