Just a 3-minute walk from JR Gotanda Station, right beside the Meguro River, you’ll find Tonkatsu Agefuku — a hidden gem serving exceptional pork cutlets.
The tonkatsu here is simply outstanding.
Perfectly fried with a crispy coating and a juicy, light-pink center — tender, flavorful, and mouthwatering just thinking about it.
While the menchi-katsu (deep-fried ground meat cutlet) is also great, bursting with rich meat juices,
my top recommendation is definitely the tonkatsu.
It’s the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes with every bite.
